City of Brotherly Love
In the last entry, I said I was going next to NYC, but as I was going through my pictures I remembered that I wanted to show you some pictures of a walking testimonial to the City of Brotherly Love. But first, like my Uncle Ralph and his home movies, since I have your attention, I am going to sneak in a few other photos from Philadelphia. Dim the lights Aunt Ruth, and bring out the cheese puffs, we have a captive audience!
(If none of this makes sense, you will have to read this entry first.)
So, where was I? We were standing in line to see Independence Hall...

...where our forefathers signed the Declaration of Independence...

...because we had just seen the Liberty Bell next door....

...and marveled at its crack...

...all the while wishing we could touch the amazing artifact to feel its cool metal and run our fingers down the crevice that will forever remain in history...

...when we saw this example of Brotherly Love in Philadelphia.

Of course, we had to take him up on his offer...

...even with the disapproving glare of George. "Hrrrmph," said he. "Kids these days!"
