Swheat Market and Deli

Cartersville, Georgia, about an hour north of Atlanta, is the home of the Swheat Deli . Open for lunch and dinner with soups and sandwiches made from organic foods, it is a great place to stop. We did and it was really good.
They boast about having 100 recipes for soups and serve 3 soups daily.

We had the mushroom barley. Fantastic!

My sandwich was the day's special - turkey, bacon, and tomato with ranch spread and Havarti cheese served on grilled sourdough bread. It was a wonderful combination.

Check out the inside!

Olivia had the turkey and Swiss. It was good, too.

The restaurant is old with scarred wooden floors. Lots of feets over the years.

On your way out, you can buy candles, cd's, coffee, and stone ground grits.

Great lunch on a beautiful winter day! Hope to get back there soon!

I love de-constructing sandwiches and making them at home (I'm analyzing yours). It looks yummy. This is the kind of shop I love.
