Day 2 of Athens

Best start to the day is a bagel from the Athens Bagel Company.  They are made on site and are the perfect bagel. Chewy, fresh, and lightly toasted.

More conference speakers and another delicious lunch ended our time in Athens.

Our weather today was unseasonably warm and broke all records for March 15 in Atlanta and the surrounding area.  It was 85 degrees and gorgeous.

I met this handsome fellow under the arches.  Love this guy!  He and Olivia started kindergarten together and have been friends ever since.

Ethan and I had a long overdue visit over some iced coffee and  then he went back to class and I went on down to Madison to visit my brother and deliver my charm bracelet for his handiwork.  I passed the Madison Cultural Center and snapped a car photo.

I guess I’ll have to go for a walking tour and get some better photos.  Madison, GA is definitely worth the visit.  I’ll let you know when I return.
