January Snow

January Snow

As expected we did receive snow today.  The foothills of the Appalachians, ice, and drivers trying to get home don’t mix very well.  It was a crazy commute that is still going on at 7:30 tonight.  People have been stuck on the interstate for 6 hours or more going only a few miles. Personally, it took me 50 minutes to go my usual 11 minute commute.

I left this up after Christmas mostly because it took me so long to hammer it into the ground to get it to stand up.  Now it looks appropriate in the snow.

The puppy loves his first experience with snow.  He eats as much as he can!

The snow is fluffy and looks pretty on the branches.

More pictures to come tomorrow if I make it out the door.
