You know you need to eat your “superfood” greens, but if you prefer to eat a potato chip rather than a kale chip, then read on.
As I mentioned earlier, we are trying to eat more vegetables around here so that takes us out of our culinary comfort zone once in a while. Kale is not right up there on my list of favorite foods but it is really good for you. I tried kale chips from a healthful eating workshop and was really impressed with the flavor and texture of baked kale chips.
You will notice that I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill ( or is that a tower out of kale chips) with this post because kale chips are sooo easy to make and my post would be two sentences long if I didn’t. However, since you have journeyed here, I thought I would give you some entertaining photos to keep you here.
If you have decided that kale is for you because I have been so dang convincing, I will now guide you in the steps of Kale Chips 101 – The Basic Recipe. I will give other recipes for kale chips later but we are taking baby steps into better nutrition here.
