These are the Christmas tags I’m using this year. I made them from colored craft sticks, paint, glitter, and artificial snow.
They look like Santas in a Salvation Army Training Camp hot tub.
I used colored craft sticks and then painted a tan stripe near the top for the face. I had to use several coats because the red dye from the craft stick kept bleeding through. Next time, I will use plain craft sticks and then paint the top and bottom red, and then paint in the face. But, who am I kidding? I never seem to make anything twice so you will be the only one to benefit from my learning curve because my santas are done!
I stuck them in a flower pot with some gravel while they dried.
Next, I added the artificial snow. After it dried, I touched up thin spots with some white paint and added a little glitter. Glitter fixes everything.
You can put a clothes pin on the back, or a loop on the top, or a name on the front. You can clip them on greenery, a gift, or a goody bag. Whatever works for you.
So cute!!
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. These are the cutest gift tags ever!
Merry Christmas!
