When the Christmas cactus blooms, I know my aunt’s birthday is near.
Blast back to 1970 and you see me with the birthday girl, my aunt Merry Carol. We are enjoying a summer watermelon at our house in Atlanta. We used to drive down to the State Farmer’s Market and get large watermelons for a dollar each.
Seven cousins and Toby! The grandchildren of Charles and Anna got together frequently to eat Sunday dinner and play. From left to right is Sally, Barbara, Gerald, Janette, Merry Carol, Beverly, and Dale on top. The eighth cousin, David isn’t pictured. This photo was taken in Ohio around 1946. Beautiful children!
Happy Birthday with many happy returns of the day!
Wow!! What handsome grandchildren of Grandma P.’s…..and how very nice of my niece Julie to post a birthday tribute to me…my birthday has been fun from the time I got up…and has continued with this post.
Happy Birthday, Merry Carol!
