My evening photo reminded me of the 1914 war song “Keep the Fires Burning ‘Til the Boys Come Home.” I certainly understand a little more of the sentiment behind the song now that Davis is 18 he had to sign up for Selective Service. I can’t even imagine sending a child off to war yet people do it all the time. All you can say is a heartfelt, “Thank You” and make sure to remember our service men, women, and families in your prayers.
