Peaches

Peaches

We bought some really good peaches just north of Madison, GA on Rt. 441.  There are numerous fruit stands between Madison and Athens. Here is the one we chose.

I like to cut the peaches and add a little sugar and then freeze them in 6 cup batches for peach pies all year long.  It’s an insta-pie when you don’t have to peel and measure the fruit later on.

But, before we got to the peach stands, we went to church with my brother and SIL  to Madison Christian Church.  If you are in the area, stop by. They are very friendly and welcoming to all!

Then we went out to eat at Rico’s.   Very tasty Mex Mex Food! I personally had never heard  of Mex Mex food but it tasted suspiciously like Mexican food.  Imagine that!

Now…check out what they have on the menu..marijuana burrito??? That was a new one for me! Davis gave it a try and gives it two tomatillos up!

This was my dinner.  I can’t remember the name.  It was some kind of dang quesadilla. (Couldn’t resist a Napoleon Dynamite quote.) Gimme some chapstick!

Olivia tried the Veggie Fajitas.  They were sizzling hot but not too spicy.  She liked them.

We also headed up to Commerce to the Tanger Outlet stores.

Okay, ladies…get your purses in shopping position!  My cousin, Lori, used to tell me that every time we went on an excusion to The Boutique, otherwise known as Value City!!!

We got a few good deals and had a few good laughs.  Hope you had a good day, too!
