Tanglewood Farms

Tanglewood Farms

We went to Tanglewood Farms in Canton, Georgia. The farm has loads of miniature animals.  For us in Peachtree City, it was about an hour and a half drive.  We took a picnic lunch but ended up eating it in the car because we were hot and had poopy shoes from all the different pens. Not that we wanted the poopy shoes in the car, but we were ready to SANITIZE after petting every animal in there.

Here is the friendly alpaca.

He was recently shorn but kept this stylish hair poof.

The goats were very friendly, too, and would let you pick them up.  The baby pigs were another matter.  They squealed loudly for all to hear if you picked them up.

There were also miniature cows, donkeys, and horses.

It was a lot of fun.  If you are driving more than an hour to get here, I would plan another activity in conjunction with the animal farm.  It didn’t take long to go through and you will probably want to have more to do if you are in the area.  We decided to go on up to Ellijay, Georgia to get some BBQ for dinner.   Ironic, I know.
